Curious what life on a luxury cruise actually looks like? We walk you through a typical day aboard Le Journey — from dawn tai chi to starlit squid fishing.
No two days on Le Journey are identical, but each follows a rhythm that balances gentle exploration with genuine relaxation. Here’s a typical two-day itinerary.
Early risers are rewarded with sunrise over the karsts — a sight best enjoyed from the sun deck with a cup of Vietnamese coffee. At 7:00am, our resident wellness guide leads an optional tai chi session. Breakfast follows: a generous spread of both Vietnamese and Western options, with fresh fruit cut daily by the kitchen team.
Time to explore. Depending on your itinerary, this might mean kayaking through the narrow passage into Luon Cave’s hidden lagoon, hiking up to a limestone summit for panoramic views, or visiting a traditional pearl farm.
Lunch is served as the boat glides to the next anchorage. Afternoons are intentionally unhurried — swim off the boat deck, read on a sunbed, or join a Vietnamese cooking class in the galley.
Sunset cocktails on the upper deck. Dinner is a four-course affair showcasing the freshest seafood caught that morning. After dinner, night squid fishing under a canopy of stars — an unexpectedly meditative experience.
